History Comes Alive in Glorious Charleston, South Carolina

Enjoy a week in the beautiful private home of an interior decorator in historic Charleston, South Carolina. The home boasts luxurious accommodations for up to 4 couples and is located in the delightful I’On district across the river from the city.  An outdoor dining porch overlooks views of the marshes and offers a wonderful place for sunset views and evening cocktails.


The house has 4 bedrooms, 3 and 1/2 bathrooms, with well appointed kitchen and cosy living rooms overlooking a picture perfect Low Country view. The garage accommodates 2 cars. The home is easily accessible from the Charleston airport, which is only 15 minutes away. It is an excellent base with special opportunities for seeing Charleston’s antebellum architecture and cobblestone streets. You can take a horse-drawn carriage ride, sample elegant shopping or charming local walks, enjoy many live music concerts and amazing restaurants in the area.

A French Soirèe for 10, Naples

Experience Art and French wine in the setting of John and Beverly Wernette’s private home. 


Be inspired by the Impressionist style of contemporary artist Gale Bennett (1939-2008), founder of ArtStudy Giverny, in Giverny, France, the village where Artist Claude Monet lived and painted.


Gale's art and teaching style will be presented by Cello Bennett Nadler.

Soiree attendees will receive a set of Gale's full-color French exhibition posters. Enhancing the evening will be a tasting of a variety of French wines, chosen by John Wernette, accompanied by French cheeses with a gourmet selection of heavy hors d'oeuvres.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet Maestro Paul Nadler, a Metropolitan Opera conductor.

A date and time for the event will be mutually agreed upon, preferably March or April of 2020.

2 Nights Stay at the Alfond Inn at Rollins College, Winter Park, FL

This stylish modern hotel is an ideal base from which to explore the charming historic town of Winter Park (approximately 7 miles from Orlando). The hotel’s excellent accommodation is complimented by an impressive art collection, which is a formal extension of Cornell Fine Arts Museum.

Winter Park has a thriving young downtown with locally owned boutiques and restaurants, a famous farmers’ market, the largest collection of works by Tiffany in the world at the Morse Museum of American Art. Other attractions include Polasek Museum and the nearby Kraft Azalea Gardens. The town hosts a number of festivals including the Bach Festival.

You will receive a gift voucher for $1,000 you can use for example for two nights stay in luxurious room with breakfast or use your voucher in another way to suit your preference, with a bottle of champagne to increase your enjoyment. A unique evening with our La Bohème stars, Mimi and Rudolpho, Sarah Tucker and Peter Lake, in the setting of "The French", 5th Avenue, Naples, to enjoy a specially chosen menu of great French food and wine. The French is an elegant brasserie, which features classic traditional French cuisine under the leadership of chef Vincenzo Betulia. 

Learn more about the exciting and challenging lives of two nationally recognized operatic artists, their experiences and aspirations, and understand how it feels to be behind the scenes of operatic performance. 

Due to their artistic commitments, this unique opportunity can only be enjoyed on the evening of Monday, March 15th.
