THE GULFSHORE TENORS

The collaboration of these three very talented and highly acclaimed young tenors creates a singing sensation unique to Naples and the rest of Southwest Florida. With a repertoire of some of the most beautiful love songs of the last 50 years and some fun opera hits, their performances consistently are met with an overwhelmingly enthusiastic audience response.
 

Their diverse repertoire includes standard love songs of the 20th century including such favorites as Unchained Melody, Nella Fantasia, and Perhaps Love…songs made famous by singers such as Andy Williams, Elvis Presley, Mariah Carey and Sarah Brightman. Other audience favorites include “hits” from favorite operettas such as Naughty Marietta and the Merry Widow, and some of the all-time greatest Opera hits! In addition to the contemporary content of their programing, the Gulfshore Tenors’ repertoire also includes traditional wedding and sacred music favorites such as The Lord’s Prayer and Mozart’s Ave Verum.

The Tenors

Fernando Gonzalez, was last seen with Gulfshore Opera as Prince Yamadori in Madame Butterfly. He was also one of the Shepherds in Laud to the Nativity. This Cuban baritone has been seen working with companies such as Cuba National Opera; Florida Grand Opera, Vero Beach Opera and Palm Beach Opera. His rich repertoire includes Zarzuella and Spanish song as well as many famous opera scenes.

Teddy Collins is one of the original members of the Gulfshore Tenors and has performed secondary roles in professional productions with Gulfshore Opera including Speed Dating Tonight!. Teddy received voice training through GO’s Emerging Artist program. A Naples resident, he is sought after in the local community for concerts and church services.

Matthew Bischoff is a native of South Florida who received a Master of Music Degree in vocal performance and pedagogy from the University of Southern Mississippi, and a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Florida. While at Southern Mississippi, Bischoff made his professional debut with Mississippi Opera as the Sacristan in their production of Puccini’s Tosca in 2015. Mr. Bischoff is a member of the Gulfshore Tenors, and made his debut with Guflshore Opera as Gaston in their production of La Traviata in 2019. Bischoff’s other professional credits include Palm Beach Opera Chorus, Chatham Opera, Natchez Festival of Music, Mississippi Symphony, Opera Fusion’s Emerging Young Artists program, and Orchestra Miami.
